May Bird ,a not so ordinary girl, and her cat find a world neither of them would ever imagine, The underworld. There she meets up with her ghost who she has recently become acquainted with. She calls him pumpkinhead and he has been coming to her house ever since she was in her crib. There she finds out she is being hunted down by the Boogieman and Evil Bo Cleevil. Will she make it out in time to stay alive or will she die and be stuck there forever?
